Re:Eine interessante Verbindung
Hi Ed,
try out this one:
KQN - KQ
I saw such an endgame vs. Alaric 7.07. Alaric have the knowledge and gave around - 0,3. Your engine gave +4,0.
I think with more of this knowledge for endgames you can improve ProDeo with more as 50 ELO. Because your engine can try to play of such remis positions.
If I compare moves from ProDeo with actual super top engines I think the playing strength in middlegame is around the same. 2-3 plys more and more knwoledge about remis positions could give ProDeo an very high ELO jumping because ProDeo plays very clarify after all the years of development. A very nice software!
Little things are to do I think
If you have interest and time and all what is to do is the early and late endgame. Early endgame is complicated, but you can try to start with improve the late endgame.
Test this one too:
Rock with pawns positions!!
Here I believe, after three games I saw, ProDeo have bigger problems. Use Ktulu as opponent because Ktulu is playing such positions to 90% perfect without endgame databases.
Best for you and good luck!
Frank

Re: ProDeo 1.7 official now
I still use the old DOS Rebel GUI very often.
It's running with Boxer 2 with Mac OSX Leopard!
Is it possible to run Prodeo 1.7 with the old DOS GUI ? How to proceed?

Impossible since the DOS version won't compile on a Win 7x64 system. Is it possible to run Prodeo 1.7 with the old DOS GUI ? How to proceed?

I also run it with Windows 7 64 bits - DOS box emulation !
Perhaps you should think of making Prodeo tablet and phone-compatible (I mean, Android, not only i-Pad). Good platforms to make some money...
