I will play for example 90 min / 40 moves + 30 sec/move
The effect will be the same. Like i7 980

Intel Core i7 980X 3.33GHz=45m+15s (official time control)
Average Game Lenght:72 moves x15 sec = 18 Minutes
TOTAL= 45 Minutes + 18 Minutes = 63 Minutes per side (45m+15s)

Intel Core i7 980X @4.33GHz=32m+15s
Average Game Lenght:72 moves x15 sec = 18 Minutes
TOTAL= 32 Minutes + 18 Minutes = 50 Minutes per side (32m+15s)

18709 kns / 14744 kns = 1,268
63 Minutes / 1.268 = 49,68 Minutes – 18 Minutes = 32m+15s
63 Minutes / 50 Minutes = 1.26

Hi Sedat !,

if you include only the top 20 engines or many ipp clones in your rating list then i am against it, otherwise if you be serious testing of all origin engines then go ahead.

Dear Engin,

First of all many thanks for your interest...

I know very well too that some chess friends will disagree with me,but this is the life - all of us see the world differently

Actually this thread is not for:
-Which chess engines are original or clones, but anyway i will try to replay you

Look what i will tell you,
During over many years i followed strictly the rules (all programs should be original work)

But later...i have changed my mind-see bellow why

And now i am asking you:
-Ok...lets say Rybka,Houdini,Ivanhoe,Fire...are clones or derivatives (not original work)

So...i have a question for you:
-How do you know 100 % that all rest chess programs are original work ???

You can not be sure for this (or any other chess expert),because you are not 100% during all of the time with the programers

My feelings say:
-In reality (in real terms),100 % original programs, which are done only with own work: are approx.30-40 (no more no less)

We should be so naive...believe me for that,of course two identical versions will be not allowed in ICCR

Some interesting notes:
-I see some chess programs, after each release the ELO difference is stronger than previous version
-I wish a lot to see a new engine, which will be stronger than Houdini (but it seems is not so easy...)
-The current releases of other engines are weaker than Houdini 2.0c (its already more than one yaer at the Top-that means a lot for me)
-Houdini is the King of the engines - Congrats again to Robert Houdart !!
-Rybka by Vasik Rajlich has a superior record-more than 4-5 years was unbeatable,i did not notice a such performance by other engine before
-Shredder,Fritz,Chess Tiger programs have also superior results in the past...
-For nowadays i see Engines with 3300 ELO:Fire,Ivanhoe,Stockfish,Critter,Komodo,Strelka...are another very strong top chess programs too, which can be Leaders in the new future

BTW,you told me in your private message that its a waste of time running SCCT Book Tournaments
Look again what i will tell you,
I respect your opinion, but i dont agree with you and looking at the Statistics Page Views:there is no less interest than my rest activities !!

Best Regards,
Sedat

So far I testing here new engines too ...
Deuterium, Dirty, Gaviota, ProDeo.
Very interesting from the older one are AnMon, Aristarch.

With this 6 engines I have 4x4 engines with one core on Quad I used for analyzes of positions. Or with other words, this group of 16 engines I will used for my next activitie ...to create a new test set of positions!

With other words, most interesting engines for myself.
...
after all what I saw in SWCR in combination with all statistics I made!
