Moron 1.0 source Code Available

Post by fern »

Anyone desirous to download it, can do it right here, in the next line:

...........................

Any problem or bug you may detect, please let me know.
I will not complain if someone use it as base for other program, provided he say it.
Once I create Moron 3.0 I will probably change my mind and I will become strong partisan of copyrights rights.

I just made a derivative and stuck a license to it
This license
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WTFPL
So, now the source code is bloated with the license...

Fern, you are inexperienced. You have to surround source code with the special button on the top.

Here it is, the first derivative:

Code: Select all

Herr Fern

Do you have any 'fantasies' of making a GUI for your engine?

My suggestion is to make a GUI that would actually play chess with me and I will buy only if it has your voice cursing at me in case I make a mistake.

Anything else would be really an added bonus - like TB usage and music.

Coming to the license I found that you have not mentioned anything in case a GUI creator wants to release it. Do they need your permission or will it be decided later after seeing how many DVD's they have sold?

My dear Pal, anything you consider fit, just do it. I have some ideas with naked ladies and some action, but still in development phase, not available yet.
I think we have in hand a great business opportunity as much other programmers stuck to the boring practice of selling or giving engines which we must associate to the always same guis.

Lets go, boy

I have already hosted it (link), which is why I'm requesting a share of the profits. I'm not being greedy, though - forty or fifty million US dollars will do me...

Maybe we need to talk with this programmer? http://stauffercom.com/hbchess/

I remembered it when Fern mentioned something about the um... Ladies. Seems my memory serves me when I need it most.

I tried, but LLVM reports an error. :( Fern's code isn't POSIX.

The least of its imperfections. I wish he'd use more comments to explain exactly how Moron does nothing so elegantly.
