Any info on the Nokia Lumia 920?
Does it use the same processor as another phone on this list?
Nokia Lumia 920 is Windows Phone 8 device, no chance to run StockFish on this device.

really ? is there no chess program for windows using stockfish, can't believe that.
what about scid ?

I have not got a WP8 device so not completely sure. Just checking the Windows Phone store and see a rather barren app market for chess. Surprising large proportion of free stuff but most if not all were designed for the previous WP7 system which had severe restrictions on what could be done.

Any way I think the Lumia 920 would probably give same performance as the Dual core Galaxy 3.

there will be a good genius port for the windows8 phones soon.
maybe we could make a genius benchmark for the machines where no stockfish is available. as an alternative.

Good to know that Genius port is been worked on, the only bad thing for benchmarking is that Genius so far only supports 1 core. In the mean time I have obtained a new Nokia Lumia 920, really like the phone and screen so have started to build a chess app collection. SmallChess author is also in the process of making port to WP8 and assume that he will port the engine Stockfish as he has done with SmallFish from iOS. Finally a Stockfish port to Windows mobile looks promising.
