What iPad app are you using? The old Stockfish app is not yet updated to run SF7 (maybe not even SF6?? I'm not sure). SmallFish runs SF7 but does not report kn/sec. I'm curious if there is another iPad app that will let me run SF7 and perhaps offer a few not-seen before features as a bonus.

I like a lot the Stockfish app and use it also a lot.

It is frustrating that it doesn't run the latest version of Stockfish.

Does anybody knows if there is any plan to have the version 7 of the engine soon integrated to the app ?

Guys. There will be a new version of Chess Studio from Giordano Vicoli that has Stockfish 7 and NPS. His existing app is running the ancient version 2.

I can build a new beta version of SmallFish for NPS. I will be able to send you a new version via email. Please check me a message or email if you like it.

Going further, I can build it as an easter-egg feature. For example, the current version is able to connect to external USB if the name of the user matches "Bryan Whitby". I can do the same for anyone who is "NPS".

The latest version doesn't work with a USB board.
You can make your first move on the board and it is replayed on the iPad but Stockfish doesn't respond, in fact the app freezes.
