Re: benchmark new smartphones:
a new result, the intel inside motorola razor i. it has 1 atom-core Z2480 with 2.000 MHz speed. Hyperthreading is possible so that you can set up 2 cores, where 1 core is only virtual.
this gives the following results:
1 Kern: 186.000
2 Kerne: 271.000
Ca 2 Minutes run, Razr i with Omar Avelar Rom (from 10.05.)
IMO a good result if we consider it only has 1 real core.

At first I couldn't understand how it had over 700knps with an inferior or equal processor to the 1.9 snapdragon of the S4.
I went to different stores and test the Note II with droidfish. It was around 450-470 everytime. I don't see where the 700 number came from.
Maybe someone used a custom rom with overclocking?
Same for the ASUS transformer 600 score I think as well (overclocking or custom rom tweaks).

The number can be reproduced with any Europe note2. Maybe in USA the note2 only has 2 cores. Or you Measured Not After 2 minutes but looked for the First Results before the NPS Stabilises.

Re: benchmark new smartphones:
Thanks for the Intel Atom benchmark. The single core 2ghz at 186kns proves its on par with ARM A9 at the same frequency.
Now my next interest is the A15 variant of the Galaxy S4.

I went to two different stores. Cleared the memory and ran the newest stockfish 3. Both devices gave about 460knps. I swear. I'm in the U.S. so hell if I know. Maybe the older stockfish was somehow faster. IDK.mclane wrote:The Results of the note2 are right. If you in the U.S. then go to a t-mobile or verizon or store and test the display models.

Re: benchmark new smartphones:
I guess i should jump back in on this topic since I posted the original Note 2 benchmark......
If somebody could tell me how to post a picture , I have a sreenshot......
I ran the new SF 3 on my Note 2 and it hit 740 k after 30-40 secs ......
ARM v7 Processor rev 0 (v7)
4 threads
I did order it on line , but could have gotten it as fast in the regular store......
Verizon / Wichita / Kansas / USA

The Galaxy S4 has been benchmarked and the Result is in the List. Although the value is low. Also the nexus4 Results were disapointing.Jhoravi wrote:Thanks for the Intel Atom benchmark. The single core 2ghz at 186kns proves its on par with ARM A9 at the same frequency.
