Question:
If I renew my Playchess membership thru IOS app for $5, does that carry over to the PC counter part?

Re: IOS Playchess membership
I took a chance and I tried it. So for about $12 USD I was able to renew my membership for a year and it works on both IOS (iPad) as well as the PC.

That's really a surprise for me. Was it an old Playchess account or a new one for the ipad that which you've been able to get working on the PC?

Is that a standard or a premium membership? I dont have an Apple device so just wondered. Either way, that is a steal.AdminX wrote:I took a chance and I tried it. So for about $12 USD I was able to renew my membership for a year and it works on both IOS (iPad) as well as the PC.

Sounds like a good deal, hope they keep that subscription model.

If my account expires in 3 months does that add a full year to my remaining 3 months?

It was for a old account that I had. But don't rush out I try it just yet because I may have misspoken.Ozymandias wrote:That's really a surprise for me. Was it an old Playchess account or a new one for the ipad that which you've been able to get working on the PC?

Yeah but I think I was wrong, and it's only for the iPad, not iPad and PC. I find their rates to be to high for Playchess alone, that's the only reason I buy and updated copy of Fritz or whatever program which I find is a much better deal.
