** Moderator election submissions now open **

Post by Sam Hull »

Nominations and team lists for CCC moderator positions may be submitted by PM (to Sam Hull) or e-mail (tcadmin@verizon.net) now through Tuesday July 31.

Nominations and acceptances for individuals must be sent via e-mail or PM - please don't rely on forum posts. The names and status of nominees will be posted below. Member can submit up to three nominees. **Be sure to inform your choices to ensure they are aware of their nomination**.

Moderator teams consisting of three members and an alternate can also place themselves into nomination. If any teams choose to run, a team election will be held first along the same lines as past elections; if no teams apply an individual candidate format will be used.

Teams and nominees can submit a moderation philosophy statement by e-mail or PM for posting in this thread. Teams, nominees and confirmation status will be listed below.

No member can sign up for more than one team or run on both sides of the board. If more than two teams run and no team gains more than 50% of the vote, a run-off election between the top two teams will be held. If only one team signs up it will run against the option for an old-style individual candidate election.

Nominee and voter criteria remain the same as in past elections; i.e., those who have been members for less than six months or have less than 40 posts as of the date nominations begin are not eligible.

Thanks,
-Sam-
