Rybka4.1 nps for comparison needed

Post by Joerg Oster »

Curently I'm running some testgames and Rybka 4.1 is one of the participating engines. Unfortunately, the performance of Rybka seems to be poor.
Please, can some of you post their nps numbers for the standard starting position up to depth 18?

Preferrably in console mode. Here is what I get:

Code: Select all

info depth 18 score cp 15 time 150304 nodes 13376997 nps 88999 pv g1f3 g8f6 d2d4 c7c5 e2e3 c5d4 e3d4 b8c6 b1c3 d7d5 f1b5 a7a6 b5c6 b7c6 e1g1 f6e4 c3e4
bestmove g1f3 ponder g8f6
If you don't know how to do:
Open a console window or terminal, start the Rybka.exe, then type

Code: Select all

uci
go depth 18
and post the last info line.
Thx.

Oops, I forgot to say that this must be Single Rybka version, not DeepRybka!
Sorry.

Can you repeat that with 1 Thread only, aka the single version, please?
Many Thanks.

Bulldozer's single thread performance is not that good, as you probably know.

Thanks Ray.

I now dropped Rybka from my testing scheme.
