hello fernando,

maybe You are infected by the from me so called "Quisinsky-virus" who makes someone come and go....smile.

Seriously: go to annother chess-univers which will allow You taking a different point of view. watch Yourself enjoying the power of Your ego-brain is running out softly and play like a child...just for fun. win or lose means nothing in that prensence...just happyness comes up and wil stay forever.

easy to say, hard to do. bring your attention to that point!

Errrr Fern, why you take the enjoyment of reading your posts away? Not age: I am 70 and still play 5 minute blitz at FICS and Chess.com. And there is still the old faithful Mach IV. And the engine tournaments which are fun to keep track of and have top engines, including Moron of course, analyze. And besides, aren't you supposed to be providing us with an overdue update of Moron? Please stay, Fern. We need you.

..or probably not..

Look Fern,
it is already bad enough that you did not sign up yet for my campaign where I'm running for the Pope position in the Vatican (see my thread in CTF). Voting will commence soon and I need your full Support.

Getting out of here is out of the question, unless you pay the Termination fee involved as per direction of the elders (as the Mormons know, about 10% of your posessions will do), and that is not a small sum; (which incidentally has to be transferred to my bank account).

Running late for preparing my inaugural speech to be held on St. Peter's Square regards,
Axel

[Site "Talking Chess"]
[Date "2013.02.26"]
[Round "1"]
[White "Ed Schroder"]
[Black "Fernando Villegas"]

BTW, 62xx posts are not enough to leave, you signed up for 10,000. You did not read the stipulations back then in 1997 ?
If Fern cannot win this he should give up chess :-)

Let me help you with this game. I will put Komodo on a 24 think to find a good move here.

well i agree with the comment(s) by Albert Silver,
at 58 my chess strength isnt decreasing yet but i'm
thinking to take up Bridge now as well, there seem
to be some online sites, and i'm going to have a look.
Also thought of Poker, but it looks like a boring game
to me, i know about statistics, but to wait for hours
until you get good cards is not for me.

But i'm glad i still can play a bit of chess, and i
probably will not forget this skill. You Fernando could
take a time out, do some other things and after a while
see -against a human player, and slow time controls-
if you still can play; maybe after such a break you will
even play a better game. Just avoid computers and kids
in training for becoming chess master, i would suggest.
Good luck with whatever
(especially writing)

An utterly brilliant reply, winning by force! The old masters, Lasker, Capablanca, Alekhine, Me (how that get in there?) could not have conceived of such brilliance. No, no, Fern, you can't quit now after such a stunning reply!
