There is a deeper link to http://kirr.homeunix.org, where also program components of SMIRF could be found. This is very strange. Has there been any permitting to have a SMIRF version provided there for download? Of course SMIRF is a kind of donation-ware, but that does not imply any right for hosting and copying everything or parts of it. How do other chess program authors handle such form of unwanted distribution?
