Indeed. The site that hosts teamleague/stc tournaments on fics has a message saying it's been hacked again. Guess it'll be down a while.

Ya know...I would like to know why a chess site such as this is a target. It makes no sense. I don't care for hackers anyway, but this is really...words not suitable for print.

Who could benefit? Only the commercial sites. :twisted:

Yes - the commercial sites could be behind it, but otherwise I can only guess at two motives - They are boy hackers who need an easy target, or they are career hackers chasing usernames/passwords for exploitation on other sites.

Anyway, does anyone know much about what happened this time ?
