The author of Houdini just wrote in the Rybka forum:
Houdini 4 is in the making - current ETA is end of November.
More details will be made available next month.

Why doesn't he make some sort of an official statement now?!
Why next month?
It's been a long time since he shared some information on Houdini development?
Usually we would already have some information by now?
It will end all sort's of speculation's if the developer say's something himself. Why all the mystery?

No doubts. Then a big thanks to Stockfish team at main site and a closed code so no one can have proofs about nothing.

It is logical that commercial programs are closed source.
In addition, there is much open code around, who wants more.
The user "normal, maybe a 99 X 100", the code will go in one ear, and out the other ear.
Regarding Reverse enginered, that's too boring, and too technical, I would say that it is even "incompatible with chess fan."
How to say everyone cheats at Chess Online, is not true, most not cheat or to own computer, no sir.
