Okay, I tried doing a trace of WAC.108 with sd 3 and trace 99, to get the full tree (just 2000 nodes). The output quickly scrolled out of the text window. When I went to the log file, it didn't have the trace output!? Is that normal behavior? I would have thought that this is exactly the sort of thing that the log file would capture.

Hi Peter,

I can't get any of these to work. I tried with Jim Ablett's 23.6 which works fine both as Winboard and Wb2Uci engine in Arena.

The only thing happening with the builds you posted when clicking analyze on a position are a lot of "spam" in the output, then the engine won't respond to further commands and if I want to stop it I have to kill the process. Tried different hash sizes etc.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Martin

I just tried it here (normally I don't use Arena) and it seems to work just fine:

Windows 8 Professional x64
Intel i7 3770K
Arena 3.5
1024 hash
