Hashtable advice

Post by cc2150dx »

Intel i7 3770 quad, 8 GB hash
Aquarium 2011
256 MB hash per engine
No tablebases
ponder off
perfect 2012c.ctg
40 min + 2 sec increment
All engines 64 bit, 1 cpu

I cam currently running engine vs engine matches with the above settings. Could I possibly increase the hash to 1024 MB per engine?, or would that be too much.

Thanks

Oh btw, the above post is a question.

Or could I do the same with 40/20 repeating time controls?

Thanks

OK, thanks Graham :)

P.S. I enjoy the engine tournaments that you do!
