Same is true for 'legal' World Champions. They deveive people into buying their comparatively very weak engines. Not their fault and perfectly legal but nonetheless very misleading by factual circumstances.
Hiarcs and Junior are not deceiving anyone by telling the truth about really winning the World championship for computers.

If Komodo covets the title so much, all Komodo has to do is play for the title and win it.

What Komodo did instead was to lie about being a world champion.

So who was the world champion in (human) chess from 1993 to 2005?

What was the price of tea from 1993 to 2005? This question is just as relevant to this thread regarding Komodo.

I will answer your question, you are transparent to me. :)

Anatoly Karpov 1993–1999
Alexander Khalifman 1999–2000
Viswanathan Anand 2000–2002
Ruslan Ponomariov 2002–2004
Rustam Kasimdzhanov 2004–2005
Veselin Topalov 2005–2006

I do not understand what you mean by this.

But I will say I disagree with your choice of world champions.

As for the relevance to this thread, it has to do with perceived value. I guess you didn't see that, heh.

It is not my choice, I don't have a say in who is the champion. You asked a question, I gave the correct answer.

That is fine with me, take that debate to the chess thinkers forum and debate it there. It is not my concern who was the human champion on the CCC forum.

You are missing the point. Hint: it has nothing to do with who was the World Champion from 1993 to 2005.

The question could have just as easily have been:

Who was the King of France in 1774?
Who was the King of France in 1793?

Why?

So you do know what transparent means...bye.

Yes, I do. And I am fairly certain you have understood my point, though I can spell it out should you desire.
