Hannibal - a unique program

Hannibal 1.4bx64 makes the move 38)g3!! This was the move that blew the game open. I was playing against CM9K. StockfishMZ is the only other program I have that makes this move!

I always had a feeling about Hannibal months ago as I knew it made some unique moves.

I recommend this program for analyzing to find something "different" in games that other engines do not consider.

Komodo 8 did find it in 31 seconds I forgot to add. This move I would let go 30 seconds initially, if u let it go longer your program might find it but I just posted this to show you Hannibal's unique of finding moves and fast.

Deep HIARCS 14 WCSC at 6 cores found it in 0:22 seconds.

Nice position. Arasan takes about 80 seconds to find this on a quad.

The game was even steven but the KING engine because of it's inclination for activity started off with h5 and the game went downhill from there. I told the other operator that is was not a good move as it weakened his kingside position.

This was the position before 27)...h5

What would you say Arasan's style is? Pro's/Con's?

The style has probably changed over the many versions I have released, but currently: Arasan has pretty good king safety scoring. It will attack if given a chance but it rarely makes speculative sacs. This game was something of an exception:

15)Bh6! is something I would do without even thinking about it. I played someone yesterday and did the same thing ... Bxh6 and was even pushing the h pawn to boot. I messed uo the attack but I was winning and then lost it in the end but computer analysis showed my sac was sound.

I always got the gist that your program was pretty solid all the way around.
