Hello,
I have an improved version of Rhetoric. The tunning algorithm has been changed and corrected, and now the evaluation is quite different.

In fact, the similarity test between the different versions of rhetoric shows something very curious:
It looks as if it were a completely different program. I ran the similarity test twice for the new version for verification.

Changes:
- Tunning/learning changed. Using self play with time odds.
- Added UCI_LimitStrength and UCI_Elo options. Very simple, adding a delay in eval.
- Added an option to change the material weigth. You can change the style to make it more positional or more materialistic. Changing the material value from 50% to 200%. The very first game that I played using 50% of the material, was a crushing Tal-style game. Really entertaining, believe me.
- Added an evaluation cache.

There are so many engines been updated out there that it is impossible test them whenever we want.
The improvement is somehow, modest. Around 40 elo in my own tests, but better in general against foreign opponents. Could be 30 elo, or coud be more, don't know for sure. It is far stronger than version 1.2, and stronger than 1.4, but depending on the time control or the opening book that it's been used by the testers, the result may change.

I focused mainly in user experience and the playing style.

Great update. Love the option to change material value. Tested 50% and you're right, it made some real Tal-like sacrifices.

It's refreshing that this engine isn't made purely for strength. I have Stockfish, Komodo and Houdini for that, but they play like cyborgs compared to Rhetoric.
