hallo MikeB :-)
thats awesome, im very curious about this analysis !
yes, after ....Ng5,Nxa3 i also thought Bf2 would be the move but i couldnt find anything after ...Nb5 eg
in my completely patzers eyes it looks like a draw because i have the feeling that black lost one tempo (which was important in the original...h6,Txh6 line i already was able to refute) with ...h6 (now Nxa3 !?)...im curious if McCain can find sth else than 0.00

so far, it's still coming up draw with all 3 moves after ~500 billion nodes...

Code: Select all

will let it run for another 14 hours

Up to 1.2 trillion nodes , all 3 moves show draw score - zero after 15 hours of think - will let it run until I get home ...

Thank you very much for this deep analysis MikeB !
its unbelievable that even ...h5 is evaluated as a draw now but after some try and error i couldnt refute ...h5 (looks like sucide but seems to hold)
so the latest news are: 8.Ng5?! is probably only a draw after 8...Nxa3 !?
im already curious about our superbrains here trying to show that 8.Ng5 is still a clear win...the position is amazing, yes, but so far it looks like we have to adjust the main-line after the queensac, isnt it ?
Thanks again MikeB for your very deep McCain-run :-)

Hi zullil,

in your pv is (35...) b1f1 not correct. 36.Ra3 is now mate in 24

35...R1b3 is much better. 36.Rg7+ is now mate in 30! 36...Kf8 37.Nh7+ Ke8 38.Rg8+ Kd7 39.Rf8 mate in 27

Hi Lyudmil:
Are you the Lyudmil who updates asmFish?

No he is not  You'll want to get in touch with Lyudmil Antonov. https://github.com/lantonov/asmFish
I think there is a way to contact via asmFish's repository. Maybe he can be reached by just posting on Fishcooking but there is an awful lot of noise there. But maybe he'll read it. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/fishcooking

lantonov is also a member on TalkChess (use searchfunction if you can't find him) so you can try PM
