Best engine 2014

I don't know much about all these engines, but I like to know which engines are currently the best if ELO or a high playing strength is not important at all .

Sjaak II, of course. Because it plays Chess and Shogi and Xiangqi!

komodo 8 and stockfish xx1214 are probably the best

K better at long time control, SF at short, but both very good

Remember the condition that playing strength is not important at all.

Based on factual data.......testing in Swiss system and knockout tourneys (ongoing) w32 These chess engines ..new ones plus the following "Great 128" are the best...in no particular order......
1) New ones Sugar 1 2 and 3....Komodo 8... Equinox 3.30 Stockfish Dev..Disaster Area..Electro 1 1.2..etc :) :wink:
