All these nifty new engine releases are like free money.

And yet I want even more.

Than you SO MUCH!

It is too much if I ask for "Windows 64 old computers" binaries? The current compile doesn't work in old systems ...

An interesting issue. We switched to a new threading approach that requires use of a newer compiler, and there seem to be some side effects of the process such as our binaries are not working on older systems. We will try to find a solution and produce some binaries for older systems, though no promises regarding when.

Anyone using Hannibal with ponder on, please send me a message about your experience (how well it works, what interface you are using, and if there is a problem ideally any games or debugging information you might have). I have had one person note some odd behavior in a series of games with ponder on, which I have been unable to replicate, so any other data others might have would be appreciated.

Primary changes:

-rewrote most of the support framework
-improved hash table handling
-improved SMP, now using C++11 threads
-improved endgame knowledge
-improved search including move selection, prunings, reductions, etc.
-Multi-PV support
-pawn hash and eval cache are per threads now
Windows only ?

Theory and practice sometimes clash. And when that happens, theory loses. Every single time.

We have a new compile for x32 and x64 Windows XP we will release shortly. Hopefully this will address the issues folks are experiencing on some of the older windows operating systems. We are also looking into a linux and macintosh compile, though we expect that will take longer.
