Thank you very much for continuing to develop ScidvsPC. I can confirm that xfccplay in the Windows version of 4.14 is working now. EDIT: (with https protocol of ICCF). By the way, the help file gives the URL https://www.webchess.com/XfccBasic.asmx, which should be corrected to https://www.iccf.com/XfccBasic.asmx.

The new features in 'Book Tuning' are the 'Add Line' and 'Remove Line' buttons.
There is also similar new features in the Tree Mask.
I forgot to mention.. i also include Phalanx XXIV now, so 'Play->Computer Phalanx' should be much tougher.

The move highlighted with yellow is part of the mainline from the pgn:game window. Clicking moves other than the highlighted one will display the Replace move dialogue with option to replace, as new main, add variation, Try variation and cancel.Ozymandias wrote:Thx, clicking on any move in the book, seems to do the trick, BTW.Ferdy wrote:This one.Ozymandias wrote:Can you give me a screenshot to so I can locate this?:PK wrote:Thank you, I like the new book building options very much.Clicking on Book Tuning next move (in yellow) moves forward.

Do you know of any way to remove the "Main Button Bar", "Status Bar" and "Player Names", in the "Main Board Area"?Ferdy wrote:The move highlighted with yellow is part of the mainline from the pgn:game window. For MBB and SB just right-click the Board pane (right-click on the word "Board") then uncheck the button bar and status bar.Ozymandias wrote:Do you know of any way to remove the "Main Button Bar", "Status Bar" and "Player Names", in the "Main Board Area"?Ferdy wrote:The move highlighted with yellow is part of the mainline from the pgn:game window. For Player Names I don't know how to hide it, because even if the game info is disabled (right-click Board pane) the player names of loaded pgn are still there. But there is a hack, goto Options->Windows->Auto resize board. Uncheck this auto resize board, after which drag-adjust the bottom edge of the gui until the game info pane is totally hidden.
