No ini file.
Default settings - single core.
Type "go depth 22" - should only take few seconds.
This is testing hardware - not the engine , so few words about your setup would be appropriate. Just copy and paste the last two lines.
I'll go first:
Code: Select all
info time 28934 nodes 52612628 nps 1818366 hashfull 982
bestmove e2e4 ponder e7e5
iMac 5K Retina i7 4.0Ghz 32gb Ram
If you keep the result pasting the results within my code brackets it will make it easier for those who want to see them and also easier for those that want to skip them

haha - exactly the same , down to the last ms as my iMac. Probably speaks more about Apple quality than anything else.

Well actually I don't have an iMac, I just copied and pasted my 4930k results into your code brackets. I thought that was what you wanted when you wrote:

I really have problems justifying a single € for a new PC! there is very little progress with Intel - regarding single core efficency.

Sorry, no offence, but that's a pretty poor Benchmark for a 12-Core.
No wonder even dual-xeon players fail to beat me....or something wrong with your Hardware.
