Hi, I bought a 128G expansion for my tablet and I would like to download the Syzygy EGTBs.

How and where is the best place to complete this task?

Thank you,

Sean

One possibility is to use torrents from Josh Shriver's site: http://oics.olympuschess.com/tracker/index.php - Have you tried it?

The syzygy tablebases are 150 GB altogether.
May be he can skip the DTZ 6 pieces ...

Hi, I spoke to Albert Silver about this topic and he stated he is going to write an article about it and post it to the CB NEWS page. So, I will wait for the article and go from that.

Thanks,

Sean

Apparently he forgot he'd already written the "article"http://en.chessbase.com/post/syzygy-tab ... t-smallest

"Theoretically, you can track down and download all the Syzygy files on the internet (legally), and then install and configure ChessBase 12/13 or Fritz so that Komodo 8 can use them. Allow me to discourage you from this..."

I'd opt for the torrent download...
