Why is it not possible to install the engine as wb inside Arena?

The engine does not initialyze - I get the message:
New Engine - not the name of the engine.

Installing works fine here,but arena (3.5) does not use the myname feature.
You could rename the exe or go into the engine manager.

with this hint it works inside Arena 3.5 but not in Arena 3.0. Here I cannot save the start parameters with the link to the endgame tbs. I can use nopopcount version or wb2uci - that works.

Can you tell me how to edit wb2uci.eng as for number of cores and hash?

Or does Dirty need some kind of .rc- or .config- file for wb2uci too?

P.S. Shredder12 doesn't show parameters as for Dirty as wb- engine installed neither

That is odd.I quickly installed 3.0 and I do not have that issue.
I can install a new instance with "Install New engine",arena adds a string to the name to differentiate e.g. "dirty [001]","dirty [002]".
Then I can change the settings under "Manage" tab "details".

Perhaps CPU (you AMD - me Intel)?
and here my wb2uci.eng (perhaps add an option for matescore):

for matescores add matescore=32000 to [options] and -a to the commandline.
Note that using smp,dirty does not put the extra cores to sleep,they will always be waiting for work.

Sorry, there is another issue with Fritz GUI. It only move when I hit the go button.
