What are the best ways to train tactics on a smartphone?

I currently use the chess24.com app's tactics trainer. I like it because you can easily load an engine to analyze a position to answer questions you may have about the puzzle.

What do other users here like for tactical training on their smartphones? Is there a dedicated piece of software from one of the app stores that is better than using a web browser to go to a tactics training website, like chesstempo.com, for instance?

For offline apps, I use the following. I cannot say these apps are better than web based, and I cannot say that web based are also better than these apps.

Chessquest, the puzzles here are very interesting.

I also use ichess by Asim, you can get fresh puzzles from latest tournaments.

I also use chess opening trainer more often because I can train with it. I can also expand or edit my repertoire with an engine doing infinite analysis in background. It can import pgn file with puzzle for example and you can train that puzzle later in this gui. This feature I like because I have the ability to import the puzzles I like. I don't need in-app purchases or some subscriptions. I can create puzzles from any given pgn file automatically, with engine verifications, then import to this app for training. But it the repertoire feature that I like best in this app. I have not seen anything like this in android based apps so far.

My top app for Android:
* Chessbase online / offline
* Perfect Chess Trainer
* Chess for Android - perhaps the only app that supports xboard protocol and it also supports uci.
* DroidFish
* Forward Chess
* Analyze This - multiple uci engines simultaneously running at multipv, no other apps can match this capability including those in iOS.
* Follow Chess

All of the above cannot match the repertoire feature of Chess Opening Trainer, which is only available for iOS.

All other apps in iOS can be matched by apps from Android.

After using many different apps, I prefer SCID.

Convert a pgn file with tactic problems and you have a great trainer at your hand.
