Nice.
Seems you used standard led with black mounting clips.
Maybe it would have looked better without the clips,or clips in the color of the board square*.
Maybe even better with smd leds,these are really small nowadays,but these are i believe mostly squareshaped or rectangular,
so just drilling a hole will not do.
edit:even if all squares have the same color now
