Hi there,

release-notes.txt (wow, 37 years chess programming) and the file "Wasp_101-x64" with the original main logo by Wilhelm Hudetz can be found under:

Wasp by John Stanback:
http://www.amateurschach.de/main/_wasp.htm

Wasp 1.01 x64 is the ~ 300 Elo stronger successor of Zarkov (strongest version of Zarkov) and UCI compatible.

This release is in my opinion particularly.
I am using Wasp for self playing because the style of the engine is "human-like".

Thanks John!

Best
Frank

A pity it does not run on older quad cores (2009/2010).
I hope there will be other compilations in the future?

Hi Günther,

not checked that ... to many work with the still running test-run and searching positions for a beta test.

I will asked him in my next mail.
If he compiled such versions I will added all on the detail page if I have.

Thanks for your interest.

The ELO increase in 32bit to 64bit isn't that useful for guys who use these engines as an opponent for training games. Gonna get smashed most of the time anyway haha.

Based on Frank's words, I'm excited to find ANOTHER human-like engine! 8-)
