Wasp 1.01 is approximately the 38th strongest chess engine with an estimated ELO rating of 2918. See the gauntlet match here -> http://chessowl.blogspot.com/2016/06/wa ... gines.html[/url]

Hi Donald,

I am looking from time to time on OWL Rating List.

Not sure with the name of the OWL director.

I have in my link selection:
http://www.amateurschach.de/main/_comparable.htm

"John Wilson, Philippines"
Is this right?
Maybe you know it?

My test-run is ready since minutes.
Need more time with the time control I am using.

Results are to compare with my own.
Only OWL Ratings are very high ... I am using the Grandmaster Information ... Shredder 12 with max. 2.800 Elo / Rybka 3 with max. 2.900 Elo. So I have an other calculation. CCRL and OWL is absolutly to high but not important.

Thanks for your interest and test!
I will added the information on Wasp detail site.

Best

Hi Fernando,

I played yesterday some test-games with the w32 version and can't see here any problem. Could you send a debug file and could you write exactly what you have for a processor typ.

Note:
Under Shredder GUI it's easy to create a debug file:

enter: ucidebug ... debug is on
enter: ucidebug again ... and debug is off

copy and paste the file in your message!
I am sure this will help!

Today I got three mails with the short Information ... w32 executable works fine. Users have different processors and different OS.

release-notes.txt (wow, 37 years chess programming) and the file "Wasp_101-x64" with the original main logo by Wilhelm Hudetz can be found under:

Wasp by John Stanback:

Wasp 1.01 x64 is the ~ 300 Elo stronger successor of Zarkov (strongest version of Zarkov) and UCI compatible.

This release is in my opinion particularly.
I am using Wasp for self playing because the style of the engine is "human-like".

Thanks John!

Frank,

Thank you very much for providing this engine from John. Here are some 14 games against Mikhail.

Thanks again for making this engine available, John & Frank, but I've noticed Wasp moves instantly under Fritz GUI. :( Anyone else notice this? Is there a possible fix?

No problems under Arena, however. :)

Thanks,
