I am excited to see super-final of TCEC , 100 games between Stockfish and Houdini, both outperformed the reigning champion Komodo.
A few facts who are not familiar with the current TCEC results,
1. Stockfish has been doing very well throughout TCEC 9 , without a loss and also has better head to head result over Houdini dev.
2. Houdini dev meanwhile is very impressive in current rapid tournament, scoring > 90% , that means Houdini's performance is >400 elo above the average meanwhile Stockfish scored >85% only with >300 elo above the average. (Add-info, Robert said H5 will be +30 elo than the current one).
Who do you think will be the champion?
Anyone excited about TCEC 9 superfinal

Yes, but can someone make a good estimation of the result for this superfinal ?
How many elo Stockfish won since stage 3 ?
Let's say Houdini dev who will play superfinal is +25 elo from Houdini dev stage 3. Could it be enough ?
If Houdini win this final against this Stockfish... It will be the event of the year. Naa, it is anyway, even without a victory.

I'm not excited no, I very rarely look at any games in progress. Time control too long for that, and you can only see what the engine was thinking after it has made its move, not like a conventional GUI where you can see what the engine is doing in real time.

Re: Anyone excited about TCEC 9 superfinal
Ok, so on the subject of being excited, i normally AM excited with interesting games shown live on TCEC, but only if i can afford to hang around a few hours.
It is the next best thing to sharpen my chess experience to having my own computer chess engine setup (which i have not had time and patience with setting up for the past few years) . But of course, there ARE better ways, but this is better than nothing.
The actual interesting thing about the upcoming superfinal would only be the fact that both houdini and SF are probably improving their engines as much as possible right now.
But then again, we will not know how they compare to the other engines that were already knocked out a few months ago.
The question of who will win?
We can't know! We don't know who did what to their engines in the past few months.
But Mr. Houdart seems to be a person who might be preparing something sneeky!
