What's the best way to watch the WCC on:

a) Desktop

Any suggestions?

Supposedly you can watch it at worldchess.com ($15 fee for broadcast). But their crappy website does not work on my desktop (no video at least). Maybe the mobile app works?

Judit Polgar is commenting on the official site. She is pretty good. I would sure rather listen to her than Yasser Seirawan, who tends to wander off into sidelines. But I see no video, just am getting the audio.
