Sadly, I'd have to agree...

- Hiarcs 8 handled Bareev

- An old version of Junior handled Kasparov

- An old version of Fritz handled Kramnik

So many examples of what are comparatively weak engines handling the world's best...

When I run a gauntlet between SF8 and the tops engines from those days, SF8 cuts through them like warm butter.

It's embarrassingly easy and one-sided.

I doubt any human could score a win, although a draw might be possible with the right strategy...
Note that being able to win a single game out of many tries can be done simply by memorizing the winning game that you prepare at home based on stockfish-stockfish games.

Probability is small that stockfish is going to play exactly the same line but not 0.

The answer is simple:
He won't win a single game ....

Try playing SF-SF on many cores from the starting position and notice:
1. How many repeated games there are
2. What's the draw rate

The probability that SF would repeat exactly the same loosing line are not 0, but well below 1 in a million.

Germany 7 x 1 Brazil, Belo Horizonte, Soccer World Cup, Brazil.

Odds the score would be seven-one were nearly impossible, but it happened.
