Hello lukasmonk,

I tried out LucasChes 10.10.1 (portable version) with the following
UCI-compatible chess programs:

Absolute Zero 2.4.7.2 ~ runs in UCI/command-line mode with -u argument
https://github.com/zongzhengli/Absolute ... e-Zero.exe

GNUChess 6.2.4 TM ~ 3.8 UCI chess engine

For GNU Chess to behave as a pure UCI chess engine, execute the following command:

gnuchess --uci

In this mode, configuration file gnuchess.ini is ignored. https://www.gnu.org/software/chess/manu ... ess-engine

http://tmokonen.net84.net/gnuchess-6.2.4TM.rar

Implementation via Tools\Engines\External Engines failed in both cases: ....exe does not correspond to a UCI engine type

In my opinion, a missing commandline-parameter like Arena/ChessGUI/WinBoard is necessary, to run both programs with the argument -u is the reason of such a behaviour

By the way: Who is the programmer of Irina Chess?
Will be CECP a.k.a. WinBoard protocol embedded into upcoming editions of LucasChess too?

v1 ~ http://home.hccnet.nl/h.g.muller/engine-intf.html
v2 ~ http://hgm.nubati.net/CECP.html

Best wishes,
Norbert

In the external engines window there is already(since not too long ago) a Command tool to do this (last icon). I have tested both engines without problem.

I am the author of Irina, winglet derivative, I use it to implement child personalities. https://github.com/lukasmonk/irina

In relation to winboard, I don't like the non-strict way of show thinking of engine, this protocol does not think of a GUI that controls it, but in a human behind. On the other hand there are great engines without support in the program. I have to think about.

Hi Lucas,

Is there a way to copy the main line (or play-through on a board)of one of the alternatives shown in the kibitzer (Candidates) window?

The only option I see if the best alternative is copied to the clipboard.

Thanks Much!

It is now the only option.

To the next update I'm going to try that the copy is of the selected line.
