Your humble chessplayer from 2017 onwards

Now that Stockfish 8 is so far currently number one in efficiency, I humbly offer hats off to SF. I can't think of any improvements except for opening and ending databases.

Improvement will continue till chess is solved..and we are still far away from it :!:

So we gone see many new improvement for years :wink:

i think there is still PLENTY what to improve until then, until chess is solved.
like to play the kind of moves and plans that top humans play, and the probing kind of moves like Carlsen plays

The internet is about 20 years old. We collect together ideas from websites, email, social media, and downloads.

I agree there will be more improvements but not as vast from 2017 onwards.

You confuse Internet with WWW. Internet is at least twice as old.
