i just released Tornado 8 on my blog.

can be download here:

http://tornado-chess.blogspot.de/

30.01.2017: v8.0 ( only 64 bit version )

- a lot of bug fixes and changes on many places.
- it shows around +20 elo improved over version 7 on my fast blitz games
- Threads are increased up to 64 cores but not tested really.

enjoy!
PlayLevel=20 is default and disabled by default. I am assuming it is a strength regulator. Is 20 more aggressive and 0 is default? Explain please.

the play level defines the fixed depth to play, so 20 means depth = 20

i am not really measure the strength by each level. so can adjust level to your strength.

i don't know whats the problem is by you, i have no problems to download and others had downloaded too.

It must be a problem on your Internet or some Security programms on your PC that not allow any files from internet.

For running Tornado You need to download 2 additional dll-files in Windows 10.

Weird, runs fine as is in my WinDOZE 8.1 Pro laptop.

As far as I am concerned WinXP was very good OS too but Vista and ME were a complete bust. Windows 7 & 8 are very good, 10 I am leary on and all it is just another money grabber from Microsoft.

I downloaded Tornado 8 without a problem. Both dll files too. But under CB GUI I can not install Tornado 8.

For me the first time to have problems with this program.

But 20 is high as it goes? So the depth of this program is only limited to 20 ply as stated by your comment??
