According to CCRL the rating for Houdini and Stockfish in FRC is 3600 ELO.
Can that be confirmed?
I am sure Carlsen and Kasparov can touch them except maybe "a masterpiece draw".
I am sure pawn odds is par for the course.

It is not 'ELO' it is CCRL rating. Both are computed from very different pools, thus we cannot compare them.jplchess wrote:According to CCRL the rating for Houdini and Stockfish in FRC is 3600 ELO.

This is even more true for FRC, because there is no FRC 'ELO' existing at all...

Human strength in FRC is unknown.jplchess wrote:According to CCRL the rating for Houdini and Stockfish in FRC is 3600 ELO.

GM-level rely a lot on specific opening knowledge and preparation, which is mostly broken in FRC (except generic principles).
Rybka-4 has the same Elo in FRC and classic (~3160)
SF8 is +233 Elo in classic and +464 in FRC against Rybka.
+273−0=27, Rybka can draw only 27 games in 300
For SF8 (@ Athlon 4600+) to prove 3600 vs Carlsen-2800, it has to allow not more than 2 draws in 100 games (FRC). Higly probable

I think I'll arrange a FRC knight-odds match with a relatively weak US master (2200+ USCF, roughly 2100+ FIDE) at our usual 45' + 15". In normal chess Komodo has only scored 25% undr such conditions, but I'm guessing that at FRC it will be fairly balanced.yurikvelo wrote:Human strength in FRC is unknown.jplchess wrote:According to CCRL the rating for Houdini and Stockfish in FRC is 3600 ELO.
