Can your chess engine find the answer?

I will post the answer later :)

Thanks for your main line below.

I think more difficult for engines after 1.Qd8 there's this
1...Qe6 which is think complicates things a bit compared to the main line.
Very nice puzzle, btw.

Excellent problem! However, Chest 5.2 slightly disagrees, starting with this position:

[d]N7/1p6/1p6/bp6/1p4b1/1p4P1/1P3KPp/7k b - - 11 10

From here, Chest thinks that 10.- ..., Bf3 and 10.- ..., Bh3 lead to a move more than 10.- ..., Bf5. Chest analysis:

Code: Select all

FEN: N7/1p6/1p6/bp6/1p4b1/1p4P1/1P3KPp/7k b - - 11 10

ChestUCI_52:
FEN: N7/1p6/1p6/bp6/1p4b1/1p4P1/1P3KPp/7k b - - (5+9)

SF 8 agrees with Chest in that position.

Which agrees with the solution I posted above :)

A difficult chess study for chess engines to solve!
