My crap hosting company forced all users to go through a confusing migration process to get their web sites running again. Because of this, and because this company has had massive security breaches in the past, I have decided to delete my account with 000webhost.

I still have all my files backed up. If anyone has a recommendation for a good free hosting company, let me know.

Sorry to hear that. How much space do your files need Tony?

The files take up just under 50 megabytes of space.

I could host them at RWBC if you like. In that case just PM me.
BTW Google Drive would be worth a try too. (except you don't like their monopolist power)

Hello Tony,

https://www.google.com/intl/fr-CA_ALL/drive/
https://www.google.com/intl/en-GB_ALL/drive/

There exists an English part for the U.S.A. too but each time I select this option only the German website is visible.

15 GB storage place totally storage place, my logo collection about 6500 pictures/photos https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... zlzX1JCaEE contains a data volume about 150 MB.

On Google Drive you can upload complete folders, the cumberstone hosting of each file belongs to the past.....

Best wishes,
Norbert

For now, I have shared my files in these Google Drive folders:

New Site
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... HlLYzU4X3M

Old Site
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... XRwUGFfYXM

I am not liking this interface. I'd rather design my own PHP based web pages, so if anyone has a recommendation for a free hosting site that supports PHP/MySQL and doesn't have file size restrictions, I am all ears.

Using 000webhost.com has its issues. I used them for free accounts, had problems, called them up, they wanted me to do etc, etc. I wasn't sure the problems would go away so I cancelled the accounts.

A few months later, I set up new free accounts. Now when I have problems, I do not call them, and in a day or two, the problems go away on their own and everything is fine for a couple of weeks. Then the cycle repeats.

It is not a perfect situation. Maybe it is due to the servers giving priority to paying customers, or something else, but I now feel I am adjusted to the issues they present.
