New testsuite: Slav Defence (plus link to all my testsuites)

Post by Jeroen »

Hi all,

I made a new testsuite for the Slav Defence. 50 positions from the Slav, covering all important lines, like the Moscow gambit, the anti-Moscow, the Botwinnik variation, the classical Slav, the Bronstein variation and so forth.

Download link

http://www.mediafire.com/file/af2kh6ux4 ... e_2017.pgn

Furthermore, I have zipped all the testsuites I ever made in one file. If you are interested, you can download them over here:

http://blogchess2016.blogspot.nl/2017/0 ... ngine.html

Amongst these testsets, there are Gambits, Opening specials, Worldchampionships and Short opening lines.

Enjoy testing!

Thank you Jeroen. I really appreciate your efforts.
Every time you create an opening suite, I split it into individual EPD records and analyze them all.
Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

Thanks Jeroen,

Been a fan of your openings work for a long time.

And this file contains, from my knowledge, all of the critical Slav lines in existence.

Awesome stuff.

Thanks for your kind words, Dann (and Rodolfo, Mike, Allan, Brendan and Ianski, too).

If someone has a request for a new testsuite (a certain opening, or a certain theme), please let me know. I'll put it on my 'testsuites to do list' and make one in the future.

Hi Jeroen,

I always try to acknowledge a good work. Your one is a state of the art one.

It'd be interesting a testsuite which includes B22 and some Sicilian variations different from Scheveningen, Najdorf, Dragon and Richter-Rauzer.

Thanks in advance! :)
