Anil V Dharan: probing 5-men during game combined with 6-men adjudication is good alternative.

CuteChess 1.0.0 supports 6-men adjudication.

OK. Whatever the reason, I've never found the 6-Men Syzygy more useful than the 5-men, at least in Gaming Results.
Whatever the software experts say, in the real world, 5-Men Syzygy is more than sufficient for any of the Top Engines, in my opinion.
4-men is even more useful.

Funny.
I've never seen that happen to Hiarcs, Fritz or Shredder. Why so many revisions of Komodo?

Because we have this subscription model, where we release new versions every two or three months. This means they cannot be thoroughly tested, so more chance of bugs. Also Fritz and some others do release bugfix versions sometimes, they just don't make a big deal out of them, just letting their customers automatically upgrade by a click of a button.

So, I am analyzing a game position in Chessbase - Komodo 11.2.2 and I try to up the CPU 1 - 8 (have a i7 - 7600) and I can't get it to go to 4....stays at 1.

I do not think I've had this problem in earlier versions...

Any thoughts?
