I have created a fork of asmfishX for the sole purpose of periodically compiling and distributing macOS binaries - both popcnt and bmi2 flavors. Will be refreshed at least monthly as long as asmfish is being maintained.
You may have to do "chmod 755 <macOS binary>" to execute.
if you signup for Github and "watch" this fork https://github.com/MichaelB7/asmFish - you will be automatically updated when binaries are released - that would be preferred for me , so do not expect any further announcements here.. either sign up or just periodically check the the fork...

also just added the "matefinder" version binaries, which also has other goodies, such as "play by elo" and "variety" play - again very, very fast..same link
Probably most of you know this - but asmfish does work with the cerebellum book, the excellent opening book Created by Thomas Zipproth through the engine uci options, but furthermore, the cerebellum is now offered as a polyglot book and can be used by any GUI that supports polyglot books. I have tested this with other engines with xboard and it works as advertised.
Nice chess gift from Thomas Zipproth, thank you Thomas!

same link ...all of the binaries have the "Play by ELO" and the new Cerebellum PolyGlot book compatible.
Had not realize the macOS version of fasmg also compiles for windows and linux - that is pretty cool.
