The first 6½ moves are just in the order in which they are generated (assuming you're scanning the board A1, B1...H8, captures first).

But then there's the surprising 7...d6 and all bets are off.

Tuning Slipper is comparable to a snail making a trip around the world while changing it's direction with 180 degrees every now and then.
