At the moment I lost my interest on TalkChess.
The new forum style is bad, most of discussions to LZero very boring for myself.
Better times will come, I am surre!

Hi,

yes, my main board for self playing games (king size is 9,5).
In the last year I updated my complete chess material. I like the DGT Polgar pieces also (not the orginal board for the pieces from DGT). So I am using the DGT Polgar pieces on a chess board from Spain.

Absolutely sure, that with a good board the player like, the own level in Elo is a bit higher. A bit crazy this comment but it's my own feeling. In reality I am a perfectionist with such things (Arena, rating list, my databases I offer for downlaod, Interviews, Reviews the TMET site … all what I do). Often this isn't good, because all is clearly more work for me.

But I have fun with it!!
And my women also. My women like all the older chess computers from Mephisto so much. She like to play vs. Rebell 5.0 by Ed and different draws she made in the last months.

On TMet site you can see the other baord I am speaking about. The DGT Polgar pieces are really great. In my opinion best chess material comes from India at first and Spain as second. Very good material can be found in England too.

Thanks for your comments!

Frank

Yes, with Japanese & French flags (Chess program Senpai).
On my i5 Notebook I lost with 1.5 : 8.5 vs. Senpai in times, I made the pics.
No chance, 2x a fast draw and in one game after a great attack by myself I can't win the endgame.
Chess programs are to strong for us, not the older chess computers. I will play vs. all of the older chess computers I have in the next months.

I got my copy

From what I have seen so far, Wasp 3.00 seems at least two plies faster than the previous version. The evaluation remained quite reasonable and human-like, and the configuration file is an excellent idea. So far, Frank's testing indicates a substantial Elo increase too. I miss only a learning function to be quite satisfied with the new Wasp. Thanks, John!
