Any news on Hannibal?

I find it just a little bit peculiar that the last released version is almost two years old and even the version played in TCEC12 is from October. Has anyone information? Is Hannibal still under development?

It's not in active development anymore. Changes are mostly bugfixes for TCEC. Development will probably ramp up again around the next TCEC edition and when we bought new hardware for testing. We just can't catch up with testing resources of other teams.

Yes! Hannibal was relegated from the Elite League in CCLS Season 1 and could never promote again... we need a new stronger version!! :mrgreen:

Hi Edsel,

thanks for your fast reply and all the best for catching up with the other teams.

Of course I would love the release of a new version but please don't feel rushed. And in comparison to Shredder 12 -> 13 almost two years is nothing. :-)
