Thank you very much, Norbert! :D
I added a link to computer-chess.org in my site's homepage here: https://deepchess.org
I am not able to install it on my 2 android devices.

I have Moto z2 force Android 8.0.0
And pocophone f1 with 8.1.0
And after manually trying to install the 4.1+ version, the 8+ version it says I have an uncompatible device,
I cannot install the 4.1 version. Downloaded and unzipped the file.

Android stops installing them right in the install process.

I visited your web site. You claim your engine uses AI for chess. You mean neural networks leela approach with Monte Carlo search or which strategy is your engine using ?

You explain Alpha Beta and minimax and Evaluation in numbers but you remain silent about your own engine.
Thanks for your message mclane!

Please tell me from where you get the 8.0+ version? Because Google play statistics does not show any downloads.
According the installation of a 4.1 + version did you follow the instruction for installation?
Instruction:
For Android versions 4.1+:

1.Open your Android's Settings. Use two fingers to swipe down from the top of the screen, then tap the "Settings"
gear icon in the top-right corner of the resulting drop-down menu.

2.Scroll down and tap Apps and notifications. Doing so opens the Apps and Notifications menu.

3.On a Samsung Galaxy, you'll instead tap Biometrics and security.
Tap Install unknown apps. It should be in the middle of the menu.

4.This option may instead say Install other apps.
On some Androids, you may first have to tap Special access.
Select a browser. Tap the browser you want to use to download your APK files.

5.Tap the white "Allow from this source"
switch. It's at the bottom of the page. Doing so will cause the switch to turn blue
, signifying that the browser will now be able to download and install APK files.

6.On some Androids, you may instead need to tap an "Allow from this source" checkbox.
Open your Android's web browser. Tap the app icon for the web browser that you want to use to download your APK file.

7.Make sure you open the web browser for which you enabled unknown downloads.
Go to an APK download site. In your web browser, either type in the name of the app you want to download followed by apk (e.g., "soundcloud apk"), or go to a website that you know hosts APK downloads.

8.APKMirror, AppBrain, and AndroidAPKsFree are all reputable sites from which you can download APK files.
Download an APK file. Select the APK file you want to download, then tap the "Download" button or icon to download it.

9.Depending on your selected site, you may have to tap the APK file's name, select a download site, and/or navigate through the download site's options before you can tap the "Download" button.
Tap OK when prompted. Doing so will confirm that you want to download the APK file and begin downloading it onto your Android.

10.Tap OPEN when prompted. It's at the bottom of the screen. If you miss the OPENnotification, you can instead swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Download complete (or similar) notification.

Alternatively, open your Android's file manager app, select your default storage location, tap the Downloads folder, and tap the APK file that you downloaded. You can then tap SETTINGS when prompted and enable installations from unknown sources for your file manager app.
Tap INSTALL. This option is in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Doing so will prompt the APK file to begin installing; once it completes, you'll see an OPEN option appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

You can see the app installed on emulator here:

Sylvain had obviously success with Monik Mac OS version and CuteChess.
"J'ai fait quelques corrections. J'ai testé avec Cutechess sur Mac et ça fonctionne bien maintenant."

The package of https://github.com/slacombe/monik/archi ... -2-2-6.zip contains since today a Macintosh compile.
Lisez-moi is a text document with the author´s email-address.

Thank you, Norbert, and please pass on thanks to Sylvain. Could you ask him to make writing all those game.001, game.002 optional?

tmokonen wrote: Wed Oct 03, 2018 1:50 am I created 32 and 64 bit Windows compiles for Monik 2.2.6 and placed them here:

http://tonyschess.x10host.com/Monik2.2.6TM.rar

I had to make a slight change to get it to compile for 32 bits.
Thank you, Tony, for the compiles. That's exactly the place I got stuck at when attempting to make my own. What are your IDE and compilers of choice?

Lachezar, I deleted Deep Chess from Native Engine and GUI Protocol List of CCWiki, but added Windows version here: http://computer-chess.org/doku.php?id=c ... e_gui_list > Stockfish.

For Monik, I used gcc 8.1.0, and just used mingw32-make from the command line. My preferred IDE for C/C++ programs is Code::Blocks.

I find that my compile of Monik seems rather slow compared to Monik 2.2.3 JA. He used Visual Studio.

Hi mclane,

I'm writing you according to the upper post about Android's release of Deep Chess. You were right! There was a problem with installation, I'm sorry about that! Now the problem is fixed and you can install Deep Chess on your devices from Google Play URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .deepchess
If is not active soon will be available just takes some time for Google Play to upload changes

Best Regards
Lachezar
