I don't understand this. I have an Axolotl 1.2 dated 17th November.
Gabor, read a few posts before and you will understand.

Thanks Günther. I don't know what to say now:
1. I can say I did read the posts, then I'll look stupid.
2. I can say I did not read the posts, then I'll look superficial.
Now I have read the previous posts (again) and I still don't know the version number of the engine I have tested for CCRL. So I'd choose (1) if I were you.

Hi Gabor,
Sorry to have caused confusion, I messed up version control and I have got all versions mixed up.
axolotl1.3
https://github.com/louism33/Axolotl
I hope this clears everything up, should make sense from now on
Thank you for your tests and your time, I am still learning and I hope this mistake has not caused too many problems.
With many thanks,
Louis

Hi Louis,
No problem. The main thing is you keep working on your engine relentlessly.
Gabor

Hi Gabor,
Louis started again with 1.0 after early 1.2.
For the rating list it would be best probably to just add a time stamp for the 'November 1.2' version.

That looks really like the best we could do. I'll pass it on to Ray.

I've released FrankWalter 2.2.6 (generously hosted by Ron Murawski)
http://computer-chess.org/doku.php?id=c ... lter:index
Should be a bit stronger than 2.2.3, I saw maybe 50 elo in self play (though what does that say:-) The plusses in elo might be due to improved SEE and move-ordering, any minusses due to applying theoretically sound changes, and seeing them struggle in practice. And keeping them because 'when I fix the bug in the transposition table, then maybe they will prove to be plusses too^^'.
Also in this version it is easier to change the default (256mb) transposition table size by supplying the arguments '-tt 512mb' or '-tt 1gb'. The latter is currently the maximum size supported.
Happy holidays everyone!
