Just read the chronology ;-)
A hint: He already authored Hactar

Edit:
Actually this was the reason why I built it (long ago) to have all data in a database/table overview,
strange that even experts don't use it?
Thanks Günther. I appreciate the work you do for the chess community (but I'm sure you already knew that).

I have to admit I haven't used your chronology pages as often as I ought to have had.

Still, I thought I was capable enough to find the necessary information all by myself. I've been mistaken. Partly because, which I don't understand, github pages rarely include the author's name. In this particular example I have found only tsoj tsoj which does not reveal much. I don't know why I have to be a Columbo to find what I need. I'm seriously considering not to test any more engines whose authors do not identify themselves adequately.

BTW, I see that the default hash size is 140 MB. If I set 256, will it be rounded down (or up?).
The hash will always have a capacity of 2^n entries. That means if you set the size to 256 it will fall back to approximately 140MB. The next size would be ~280, 2*~280, 2*2*~280, ...

Version 1.2.0 fixes a bug in time management, I had about 20 1min games with 1.2.0 and it never lost on time, so that should not happen anymore.

My name is Jost Triller, I'll write it on my talkchess profile for future occasions.

I ran 80 games @40/40 so far without any losses on time. The fix in the new version must have worked.

I want to make a gauntlet with 1.2.0, what's the aproximate strength (ccrl 40/4 or whatever) so I can select appropiate opponents?

I let it play against Purple Haze 2.1.0 (1877 CCRL 40/4) and Claudia 0.5 (1900 CCRL 40/4) and it seems to be in the same range. Better than purple haze, maybe worse than Claudia.

Couple of requests, can you put the version number in the info string so we can tell versions apart? Do you have a logo? What country flag should I set ^2-chess?

I added the version number to the uci command: https://gitlab.com/tsoj/squared-chess/tags/1.2.1
A logo can be found here: https://gitlab.com/tsoj/squared-chess/b ... a/%5E2.png
I am from germany so that's probably what you want to set the flag for.
