In this position
[d] 8/8/2k1P3/5P2/6Pb/3K4/8/3B4 b - - 0 100
Weini totally failed to find a winning sequence of move (so do I ...).
Stockfish is seeing +2.2 but when playing Stockfish moves on lichess from this position, score drops do +1 quickly.

It's a TB draw.

What will be the clue to detect the draw without TB in an engine ?
I already divide the score by 3 when it is a final with opposite color bishop as discuss in a previous post...

I think it makes not much sense to care about those very rare special cases at this stage,xr_a_y wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 10:57 amOops, forgot to check TB ... Thanks.Vinvin wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 10:51 am It's a TB draw.

especially, if even SF with some search (and w/o TBS) shows here +2.2 at first.
Better add first more common and more likely to appear engdame patterns, if search isn't enough.
E.g. K vs. KP, KRP vs. KR, KP vs. KQ, K vs KBP (wrong Bishop for a/h pawn), or may be even K vs. KBN (though still rare, but more elemental)
