Thanks
There was a funny bug in the engine: it was necessary to promote a pawn into a knight and extend the game to one move. But no, the engine promote a pawn into a queen and hopes for the opponent's mistake))
A little bit about SSS(small sample size):
I tested the patch today.
It's beginned very good:
Score of Zevra v2.0 r172 vs Zevra v2.0 r172: 8 - 1 - 1 [0.850] 10
After 100 games it seems really good:
Score of Zevra v2.0 r172 vs Zevra v2.0 r172: 40 - 11 - 26 [0.688] 77
But after 869 games I doesn't see improvment:
Score of Zevra v2.0 r172 vs Zevra v2.0 r172: 274 - 264 - 331 [0.506] 869
The most unpleasant in testing
What is the likelihood that testing will troll you?

https://gitlab.com/sovaz1997/zevra2/tags is where you download Zevra 2.0 r172
An alternate site is:
http://sdchess.ru/download_engines.htm
It has the latest Zevra, as well as a whole bunch of older versions.

Re: Zevra v2.0 r146 beta
Hi Oleg,
The linux binary(https://gitlab.com/sovaz1997/zevra2/tags/v2.0_r165_beta) doesn't work well.
In Cutechess GUI it crashes immediately and in Arena for Linux it sometimes plays a whole game and other games it doesn't make a move.
The strength when playing is also much weaker than with the windows version.
Kind regards,
Antonio

Re: Zevra v2.0 r146 beta
Hi Oleg,
I tested the latest linux binary from sdchess.ru(http://sdchess.ru/engines/zevra_2_0_bin.zip) and it doesn't work in Cutechess GUI and Arena for Linux 1.1.
I have compiled the latest source and it doesn't work neither.
Version 1.8.6 commit 672 works perfectly in Linux.
Maybe something is wrong with the rewritten UCI code that doesn't work in Linux.
Kind regards,
Antonio

For Linux, I didn't compile. When I'm at home, I will make binary files for Linux. Thanks!
