It was the best on 4 rapid games.

I think it was the best of four. If all four rapids were drawn then it would have went to blitz. I believe I heard Judit say if the blitz was drawn then whoever had black would win. Not sure about that, so fact check it.

Thanks. Imagine the old rules were it was the first one to 6 wins. Fischer wanted the first one to 10 wins. (I suspect that if he were alive he would think that the match was prearranged.) The match could have gone on for months.

yes, the replys were correct...of course after the possible blitz-draws, an amageddon would have been started in which black had won the title if he were able to draw this last game
